Friederike Hamann



Friederike Hamann (* in Hagen, Westphalia) is an artist living in Berlin. She joined NOTE ON in 2011 and has co-developed the program’s content and contributed her own art projects (»Archive Scenes #1-3« and »Is there anything we can do for now?«). After graduating with a BFA from RISD in 2000 she moved to Portland, Maine where she founded the artist collective Field, which she was part of for 6 years. Her work was shown at Reception Galerie (2012), Alpineum Produzentengalerie Luzern (2011) and at Treignac Projet (2010/11).  Through her multimedia installations, she investigates the physical and psychological perceptions of space, architecture and light.
