Ulrike Gerhardt is a writer on art and cultural theory, PhD candidate and member of the doctoral research group Representation Visuality Knowledge at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Her writing has appeared in 11th Istanbul Biennial: The Guide (Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, 2009), STARTER Exhibition Catalogue (ed. by René Block & Ilkay Baliç, Istanbul 2010), KUNST.EE. Magazine of Art and Visual Culture in Estonia, Camera Austria (both 2014), FAK (Feminist Working Collective)—Body of Work and Art in the Periphery of the Center (Berlin: Sternberg Press) (both 2015) among others.
